It doesn't stop there either, we offer PAYG in-car training, and we have teamed up with the region's leading professional driving instructor trainers, who are GRADE ‘A’ registered and approved by the DVSA Official Register for Driving Instructor Training (ORDIT). They also have BTEC4 qualifications in Coaching for Driver Development, with over 20 years experience helping clients to become safe and confident drivers through coaching, and have been assisting Potential Driving Instructors (PDI) achieve their goals to become ADIs.

In addition to our ORDIT trainers we also offer a mentoring service from our own ADIs.

Who can apply?
You can apply if you are:

Have held a driving licence for at least 3 years

Part 1
ADI Theory Test:
​
This is a test of your knowledge of The Highway Code,
the rules of the road and your knowledge of instructional techniques among other things. The test is carried out in two parts; a 100 multiple choice questions section with a minimum pass mark of 85 followed by a hazard perception test.​ The hazard perception part of the test consists of 14 video clips with a minimum pass mark of 57 out of 75.
You need to pass both parts of the theory test to obtain an overall pass result. There are no restrictions on the number of attempts you have at the theory test.
Part 2
Driving Ability Test:
​
Part two consists of an eyesight test and a test of your ability to drive to a high standard. It will prove whether or not you have a thorough understanding of good safe driving techniques and that you can also demonstrate them.
It is a one hour examination and you are allowed up to three attempts to pass.
Part 3
Instructional Ability Test:
​
A Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) examiner will watch you give a client-centred driving lesson lasting about 45 minutes to one of your pupils.
You will need to teach according to the 17 competencies which were written to fall in line with the 'National Standards for Driver and Rider Training'.
You are allowed up to three attempts to pass.
All of our in-car training is delivered on a one-to-one basis.
