ABOUT US
More than driving lessons.
At Driving 2ition, we provide professional manual and automatic driving lessons across North Staffordshire and Cheshire East.
Learning to drive is about far more than passing a test. It’s about developing the confidence, judgement and skills needed to drive safely and independently for life.
Every client arrives with different goals, different experiences and different ways of learning. That’s why every lesson is structured around you.
WHY DRIVING 2ITION EXSITS
Safe driving is for life.
Driving 2ition was founded in 2019 with one simple belief,
Professional driver training should never be one-size-fits-all.
We exist to help people become safe, confident and independent drivers through coaching that is tailored to the individual.
Whether you're starting from scratch, returning to driving after a break, or building confidence behind the wheel,
our focus remains the same; helping you become the
best driver you can be.
Hi, and welcome to Driving 2ition.
I'm Simon Harbidge, the founder of Driving 2ition.
About Driving 2ition
Professional driver training built around you.
Driving 2ition is an independent driving school providing manual and automatic driving lessons across North Staffordshire and Cheshire East.
We support new drivers, nervous drivers, people returning to driving and those who may need a more individual approach to learning.
Our training is structured, client-centred and focused on developing the observation, planning, judgement, decision-making and vehicle-control skills needed for safe, independent driving.
The practical driving test is an important milestone, but it isn't the end goal.
Our goal is to help you develop the skills and confidence to drive safely for life.
Because safe driving is for life.
A calm, supportive learning environment.
Learning to drive should feel challenging, but never overwhelming.
We create a calm, supportive environment where you can learn at your own pace, ask questions and make mistakes without feeling judged.
Our client-centred approach is particularly suited to nervous drivers, people returning to driving and those who may benefit from a more individual or neurodivergent-friendly approach.
We adapt the way we explain, demonstrate and practise skills to help you build confidence, understand what you're doing and become increasingly independent behind the wheel.
Meet our team
Our professional driving instructors share the same commitment to delivering high-quality, client-centred driver training.
We provide both manual and automatic driving lessons, with each instructor working to the same professional standards and values that define Driving 2ition.
Our instructors follow current DVSA coaching principles, encouraging clients to think independently, manage risk and make safe decisions behind the wheel.
Rather than simply giving instructions, we help you understand why situations develop, build confidence that lasts beyond the driving test and develop the judgement needed for safe driving for life.
Regular professional development and quality assurance help us maintain consistent, modern and professional driver training across Driving 2ition.
More than driving lessons
Driving 2ition is developing a complete approach to driver education that supports people before, during and beyond the driving test.
Alongside manual and automatic driving lessons, we provide refresher training, confidence-building sessions, motorway driving, Pass Plus, theory support, test preparation and instructor training.
Our focus is not simply on helping someone pass a test. We want every client to develop the observation, planning, judgement, decision-making and independence needed for safer driving in the real world.
As Driving 2ition grows, we will continue developing new training resources, technology and services designed to improve the way people learn to drive and support professional driving instructors.
Our long-term aim is to raise the standard of driver training and help create safer, more confident and independent drivers for life.
Train smarter. Drive smarter. Arrive alive.™
