Learning to Drive Around Tunstall
Tunstall provides a varied driving environment, with quieter residential roads alongside busier urban routes, junctions, roundabouts and shopping areas.
Training can progress through areas such as Scotia Road and the roads around Tunstall town centre, helping you develop observations, lane discipline, planning and confidence when dealing with changing traffic conditions.
As your skills develop, lessons can extend towards the A500 and surrounding areas, providing experience of higher-speed roads, joining traffic and planning further ahead. Using unfamiliar routes also helps develop independent decision-making rather than simply learning particular roads.
